Miller Nights—Mill Valley's Newest Summer Tradition Starts This June
School's almost out and Mill Valley is doing something it has never done before. Miller Nights is a brand new summer evening series coming to Depot Plaza on June 12 and August 21 — and The House is proud to be the title sponsor of its very first year.
What It Is
Miller Nights is a free, family-friendly evening series hosted by the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce, designed to do one thing really well: turn downtown into a place to be on a summer evening.
From 5 to 8 PM, Miller Avenue goes partially car-free so that Depot Plaza can stretch out and breathe. A DJ sets the tone. Local restaurants spill out with outdoor dining. A curated pop-up market brings Mill Valley merchants front and center. And for families, there's a bounce house and kids crafts — which means the little ones are occupied and the grown-ups can actually relax, linger over a drink, and catch up with neighbors.
It is free to attend. It is open to everyone. And it is, honestly, the kind of thing you move to Mill Valley for.
Why We Wanted to Be Part of It
The House is rooted in this community. We live here, our clients live here, and the whole reason we do what we do is because we believe Southern Marin is one of the best places in the world to build a life. Miller Nights captures something that is genuinely hard to put into words about this town: the way people actually show up for each other, the ease of a summer evening in the plaza, the mix of kids and dogs and good food and familiar faces.
Save the Dates
Two nights. Both free. Both worth clearing your calendar for.
Friday, June 12 | 5 to 8 PM | Depot Plaza
Friday, August 21 | 5 to 8 PM | Depot Plaza
Bring the kids. Bring friends. Grab dinner from one of the local restaurants, browse the market, and stay as long as the evening lets you. We'll see you there!
